The DOST-SEI is now accepting application for the year 2022 Junior Level Science Scholarship (JLSS) via the E-Scholarship Application System!
The Junior Level Science Scholarship (JLSS) Initiative aims to provide scholarships to talented and deserving students in their third year of college who are pursuing degrees in the fields of science and technology; and to ensure continued, appropriate supply of qualified S&T human resources who can guide the country toward sustainable National growth.
Scholarship Benefits :
The Benefits of DOST Junior-Level Science Scholarships Scholarship 2022 are :
| A. Regular Academic Year | |
| Tuition and other school fees (for scholars enrolled in private HEIs) | ₱40,000.00 / year |
| Learning Materials and/or Connectivity Allowance | ₱10,000.00 / year |
| Monthly Living Allowance | ₱7,000.00 / month |
| Transportation Allowance(for those studying outside of home province) | 1 economy-class roundtrip fare |
| Group Health and Accident Insurance | Premium |
| Thesis Allowance | ₱10,000.00 |
| Graduation Allowance | ₱1,000.00 |
| B. Summer Allowance (if required in the curriculum) | |
| Tuition and other school fees | ₱10,000.00 |
| Learning Materials and/or Connectivity Allowance | ₱2,000.00 (outright grant) |
| Monthly Living Allowance | ₱7,000.00 / month for two months |
Scholarship Timeline :
- The starting date of Online Applications for DOST Scholarship 2022 is June 9, 2022
- The Last Day of Online Applications and uploading requirements for DOST JLSS Scholarship 2022 is July 31, 2022
- Schedule Dates for Qualifying exam of DOST JLSS Scholarship 2022 is August 27-28, 2022
