DepEd SHS Voucher program is now open to apply for all eligible Filipino students. The PEAC – Private Education Assistance Committee of the Philippines is calling in applications from interested candidates to apply for the DepEd SHS Voucher Program for the School year 2024-2025.

DepEd SHS Voucher Program

The DepEd SHS Voucher Program, also known as Senior High School Voucher program – is a Financial Assistance Grant Program initiated by the DepEd and is co-implemented with the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC). Recently, the PEAC – Private Education Assistance Committee on its Facebook page shared an update on the opening of the Online application for the DepEd SHS Voucher program.The online application for this program is open to all eligible and deserving students for the school year 2024-2025.

All Incoming Grade 11 students can apply for SHS Voucher 2024 program. The Online application for SHS Voucher – Senior High School Voucher are processed online coursed through the Private Education Assistance Committee National Secretariat (PEAC NS) Online Voucher Application Portal (OVAP).

Benefits of DepED SHS Voucher Program

Students who are selected in the program will receive vouchers of value from ₱14,000 to ₱22,500.

The amount of the SHS Vouched depends on the location and category of the student.

Who can apply for SHS Voucher Program

All interested candidates can apply for the SHS Voucher program if they meet the following eligibility criteria:

All Grade 10 completers in SY 2023 – 2024 from Private schools who are not ESC grantees.
All Grade 10 completers prior to SY 2023 – 2024 but not earlier than 2016 and had not previously enrolled for Grade 11.
Learners who had passed the ALS A&E Test for Grade 10 not earlier than 2018 and had not previously enrolled for Grade 11, or ALS learners who passed the Portfolio for Grade 10.
Learners who passed the PEPT for Grade 10 not earlier than 2016 and had not previously enrolled for Grade 11, or learners who will take the PEPT for Grade 10 in the upcoming SY.

List of Documents Required

The list of documents required to apply for DepEd SHS Voucher Program is as follows:

A Recent 2×2 colored ID photo
Notarized Affidavit* of occupation and income for ALL that apply: both parents, guardian/s, and other person/s helping send the VA to school, if any
Signed Parent Consent Form** for VAs below 18 years old at the time of the submission of the application
Certificate of Financial Assistance*** received from the JHS, if applicable
Certificate of Rating or Certificate of Completion for Category E applicants; and Certificate of Rating for Category F applicants.

Application Timeline

The Opening date of DepEd SHS Voucher Online application is May 16, 2024.
The deadline date for creation of accounts on Online Voucher Application Portal is June 2, 2024.
Deadline date for submission of applications on OVAP is June 4, 2024.
Results of Online application and start of voucher redemption will take place on July 12, 2024.

NOTE: Applications submitted manually will not be accommodated. The Department of Education (DepEd) shall not accept submission of applications.
