The TeachSTEM College Degree Scholarship by Gokongwei Brothers Foundation is a simple Scholarship for filipinos pursuing College degree. The scholarship can be used to pay for tuition, accommodation, books, or any other educational expenses.

The Scholarship benefits of TeachSTEM College Degree Scholarship are as follows:

Monetary Benefits : Scholarship Grant

A Fixed annual grant
- Public University: PHP 65,000
- Private University: PHP 85,000
A chance to get education from esteemed Centers of Excellence/ Development
Scholarship grants shall be sent directly to RBank accounts of scholars
The scholarship grant may be used for educational expenses like tuition, books, supplies, living expenses and conduct of research

Non-Monetary Benefits : Scholar Development programs

Access to capacity-building programs (i.e. leadership, upskilling, subject content)
A chance to be part of an educators community
Continue to serve in the public sector while completing your course

Return Service

For the term of their scholarship, scholars must work as STEM teachers in any public K–12 schools, ideally in their hometown.

Eligibility Requirements for TeachSTEM Scholarship

The Eligibility Requirements to apply for TeachSTEM College Degree Scholarship are as follows:

Must be a new or continuing college student majoring in Science, Technology, or Mathematics for a Bachelor’s degree in elementary or secondary education at one of Gokongwei Brothers Foundation’s partner universities.
In the previous academic year, there must have been no failed, dropped, or incomplete grades.
A general average of at least 85 percent (or its equivalent) is required.
The scholar must enroll minimum academic load prescribed & complete program within the recommended period.
The Applicant must be in good health.
The student must be of good moral character.
Must be in need of financial support to complete studies.
The Applicant must not be a recipient of other scholarships.

Documentary Requirements for TeachSTEM Scholarship

The Documentary Requirements to apply for TeachSTEM College Degree Scholarship are as follows:

Should submit Proof of Enrollment/Admission for AY 2022-2023
A Certified true copy of grades reflecting GWA from the previous Academic Year
Should provide Proof of household income (e.g., ITR, Certificate of Indigency, Certificate of Low Income, 2 recent pay slips)
Must have Certificate of Good Moral Character
Philosophy of Teaching essay
Must have a Recommendation Form
Must have a consent from legal guardian (for applicants under 18 years old)
Should submit ID Picture
Must have a Medical Certificate (to be submitted after passing essay test)
