OWWA Scholarship 2024 Results
The OWWA – Overseas Workers Welfare Administration has recently announced the results of the ODSP and EDSP Scholarship programs for the school year 2024-2025.
OWWA in its Facebook post congratulated all the college students who passed the EDSP – Education for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP) for 2nd to 5th year students and OFW Dependent Scholarship Program (ODSP) for freshmen to 5th year students this School Year 2024-2025.

OWWA Scholarship Benefits
The OWWA Scholars selected for Education for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP) program will receive a scholarship of Php60,000 per school year until they complete a four to five year baccalaureate course.
The OWWA Scholars selected for OFW Dependent Scholarship Program (ODSP) will receive scholarship of Php20,000 per school year until they complete a four to five year baccalaureate course.

A total of 5,358 students will receive OWWA Scholarship benefits.

The Science Education Institute – Department of Science and Technology (DOST-SEI) has recently announced the list of qualifying college students for its DOST Junior Level Science Scholarships 2024 program.

DOST Scholarship Benefits
Following is the list of benefits a DOST scholar will receive under DOST JLSS Scholarship:
Regular Academic Year Benefits
- Tuition and other school fees – ₱40,000.00 / year
- Learning Materials + Connectivity Allowance – ₱10,000.00 / year
- Monthly Living Allowance – ₱7,000.00 / month
- Transportation Allowance – 1 economy-class roundtrip fare
- Group Health and Accident Insurance – Premium
- Thesis Allowance – ₱10,000.00
- Graduation Allowance – ₱1,000.00
Summer Allowance (if required in the curriculum)
- Tuition and other school fees – ₱10,000.00
- Learning Materials and/or Connectivity Allowance – ₱2,000.00 (outright grant)
- Monthly Living Allowance – ₱7,000.00 / month for two months
Number of Scholars
A total of 2,696 students are qualified for DOST JLSS Scholarship 2024 program.
