TM SIM Registration

The TM SIM Company is complying with the new SIM law and has asked all its users to register their SIM Card. The SIM Registration Act has been implemented to protect the privacy of all Filipino SIM Card users. This new law aims to eradicate online scams, spam messages and frauds completely in the Philippines.

Who can register a TM SIM

TM SIM Card can be registered by the following:

• Filipino Citizens
• Foreign Nationals
• Company – Authorized Representative

Requirements to register TM SIM Card

Following is the list of requirements required to be eligible to register your SIM card:

Registering as Filipino Citizen / Foreign National

If you’re registering TM SIM Card as a Filipino / Foreign national, you will need the following information:

• Full name
• Date of Birth
• Gender / Sex
• Address
• Government ID presented + ID number
• Valid government ID with photo (max file size: 4MB)

Registering Under Company Name

If you’re registering your TM sim card under a company name, then an authorized representative is required with the following information:

• Details of the Authorized Representative:
  • Name of the representative
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender / Sex
  • Nationality
• Company Name
• Company Address
• Type of Government ID presented + ID number
• Valid government ID with photo (max file size: 4MB)
• Certificate of Registration / DTI Registration (max file size: 4MB)
• Board Resolution / Proof of Authority designating the authorized representative OR a Special Power of Attorney (max file size: 4MB)

List of Acceptable Government IDs for SIM Registration

To register a SIM Card in the Philippines, you must upload a Government ID for verification.

The list of official Government ID cards that are acceptable for sim card registration are as follows:

• BIR ID
• DRIVER’S LICENSE
• IBP ID
• NBI CLEARANCE
• OWWA ID
• PRC ID
• PASSPORT
• PHILHEALTH ID
• PHILIPPINE IDENTIFICATION (NATIONAL ID)
• SENIOR CITIZEN ID
• SSS ID
• UMID CARD
• VOTER’S ID

NOTE: It is to be noted that the photos must be in PNG, JPG, JPEG, HEIC, or PDF. Make sure your chosen ID is not blurred or cropped. Maximum file size of the documents must be 5MB.

What steps are involved in SIM Registration

Registering a TM SIM Card online requires the steps given below:

• Visiting the Official TM SIM Registration online link
• Filling the registration form and uploading acceptable IDs
• Receiving Reference Number after successful registration

How to register your TM SIM Card Online

Follow the steps given below to successfully register your TM SIM Card Online:

1. Visit the Official TM Sim Registration Online Link (given below),
2. Start by selecting your preferred language from English / Taglish,
3. Enter your 10-digit mobile number and click “Register”,
4. An OTP will be sent to your number, enter the OTP to get verified,
5. Once verified, you will proceed to the online registration form,
6. Fill in all required fields like First name, Last name, Date of Birth, Sex and Nationality,
7. Select the Registration Type and enter local address,
8. Make sure to fill in all the details correctly and click “Next“,
9. Now you must verify your Identity for SIM Registration
10. Select a Government ID, enter ID number and upload the photo of valid ID and a take selfie of yourself and click “Next”,
11. Read carefully the terms and conditions and Data Privacy and Privacy Policy and tick the checkboxes to agree to them,
12. Click on “Submit” to complete the online registration process,
13. A message will be displayed stating Registration complete with a Reference Number,
14. Take a Screenshot of the reference number, or save it for future reference,
15. The Reference Number is a proof that you have successfully registered TM SIM Card.
